At minimum, we need your desired frequency range, antenna pattern (omni or directional), impedance, and target gain. Additional details like polarization, beamwidth, connector type, and environmental conditions help us deliver a more accurate proposal faster.
What is the typical lead time for a custom antenna project?
Standard custom projects take 4-8 weeks from approved design to delivery. Simple modifications to existing designs can be faster (2-3 weeks), while complex multi-band or phased array designs may take 8-12 weeks. We'll provide a detailed timeline after reviewing your requirements.
Is there a minimum order quantity for custom antennas?
For initial prototypes, there is no minimum order — we can produce as few as 1-5 units for validation. For production runs, MOQ depends on the complexity of the design and tooling requirements, and is discussed during the proposal phase.
What frequency bands can you design for?
We design antennas across a wide frequency range from 900 MHz through 5.8 GHz and beyond. This includes common bands like 900 MHz, 1.3 GHz, 2.4 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 5.8 GHz, as well as custom frequencies for specialized applications.
Can you modify an existing TrueRC antenna design for my application?
Yes. Modifying an existing proven design is often the fastest and most cost-effective approach. We can adjust frequency tuning, connector types, form factor, mounting, and housing to match your requirements while maintaining proven RF performance.
What testing do you perform on custom antennas?
Every custom antenna undergoes comprehensive testing including SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) measurements, impedance testing, axial ratio and cross-polar measurements, and full radiation pattern measurements. We provide test reports with your delivery.
Do you ship custom antenna orders internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. We handle all export documentation and can accommodate special packaging requirements for sensitive or ruggedized applications. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are included in your proposal.
